![]() CIDER HILL FARM is a family business. In addition to the bakery, we have vegetable and flower gardens, wine grapes and apple trees. We've recently moved into a new facility for baking and cheesemaking and are continuing work on a space we hope to turn into a seasonal weekend restaurant, all here on the farm. The newest additions to life on the farm are Scottish Highland cattle. See the pic of Marilyn and Lucille on the right. Marilyn graced us with a bouncing baby bull last June and Lucille is bred for this summer. Sometime in the future we'll be offering natural, grass-fed, hormone-free beef. We are committed to a sustainable, natural lifestyle. Our animals are pastured throughout the milking season because we believe the best cheese is made from milk that reflects what the animal eats. The same idea applies to garden produce and wine -- it's only as good as the soil. Products are available at local farmers markets, or at the farm by appointment.
